Specific emphasis will be on developing skills and diagnosis of psycho-active substance disorders and comprehensive assessment and treatment planning. Techniques in evaluating mental status, providing individual and group therapy and teaching self-management skills to enhance recovery will be stressed. This course will draw on theories learned in AC 213 and will build upon the skills learned in AC 214. Prerequisites: AC 213, AC 214, or permission of instructor. SS ( C)
