1 semester, 3 credits This course surveys neuropsychology, functional neuroanatomy, and brain-behavior relationships.The effects of brain damage on cognitive, personality, and psychosocial functioning will be discussed as well as descriptions of the most common neuropathological and neurobehavioral syndromes (e.g., traumatic brain injury, aphasia, cerebrovascular accidents [strokes], dementia, etc.). Prerequisite: PSY 100 or permission of the instructor.
