Discussion, demonstration, and application of nursing theory, principles, and effective communication techniques. Through application of the nursing process, assessed needs, and developmental theories, students provide care for adult and geriatric patients in home and extended-care clinical settings. Focus on medication administration and patient status reporting. 1230.20
