Class hours: 64-72 lecture Advisory: Completion of Computer Information Systems: Cisco Internetworking 4 or current CCNA certification or equivalent experience. Optimizing Converged Networks (ONT). Topics include optimizing quality of service (QoS), converged networks supporting voice over IP (VOIP), wireless and security applications, voice network implementation, Network Based Applicable Recognition (NBAR), traffic classification, marking, congestion management, link efficiency mechanisms, policing, shaping, and Auto- Qos. Implement, configure, and manage a Wireless (WLAN) network, security, encryption, authentication, QoS, and management. Qualifies students to take the Cisco Level 8 examination.
