Class hours: 32-36 lecture; 48-54 laboratory Transfer Credit: CSU. Methodology, theory, and aesthetics of cinematography for motion-pictures and television. Classic filmmaking techniques are combined with digital and/or film cameras and other technologies to achieve a 'cinematic look' to assigned projects. Focus on the traditional production phases of the filmmaking process, including the hiring of personnel, selection and use of tools and techniques, and the directorial decisions involved to complete various types of cinematic productions.
