Topics include: identification of the crime scene; investigative patterns and techniques; tool use; mathematical measurements; evidence handling procedures; notetaking strategies; elements of the crime scene sketch, including the definition and use of symbols and legends; and the preparation and presentation of crime scene sketches in court.
