3 units; 3 hours Lecture Repeatability: May be taken a total of 4 times. Prerequisite: FT 183 or equivalent; EMT and CPR certification required. Recommended Preparation: Eligibility for ENGL 100 and READ 100. Prepares Emergency Medical Technicians for testing into paramedic school introducing aspects of advanced life support patient care. Upon course completion students will receive 24 C.E.U.s toward EMT recertification.
