2 units; 2 hours Lecture Prerequisite: RT 52. Corequisite: RT 60L. Recommended Preparation: Eligibility for ENGL 100, READ 100 and MATH 154. Reviews the techniques employed in the use and control of x-ray equipment in radiographic procedures. Introduces darkroom chemistry, film processing, film/cassettes types and construction and the impact of contrast and density, and technique formulation. Studies the fundamentals of the photographic process; digital and computerized radiographic principles and general radiographic QA/QC. Transfer Credit: Transfers to CSU.
