3 units; 3 hours Lecture, 2 hours Laboratory Repeatability: May be taken a total of 2 times. Prerequisite: MUS 31A, 57 or equivalent skills. Recommended Preparation: Eligibility for ENGL 100 and READ 100. Continues studies of recording techniques in preparation and production of music, utilizing computer-based technology. For studio musicians, and home or professional recording engineers, this course maximizes the production capabilities of combining computer technology with traditional recording techniques. Transfer Credit: Transfers to CSU.
