1 unit; 3 hours Lecture; 2 hours Activity Repeatability: May be taken a total of 4 times. Recommended Preparation: Eligibility for ENGL 100 and READ 100. Rehearsal and performance of choral music techniques and stylistic performance practice, emphasizing cantatas from the Baroque to the present day. A level of proficiency demonstrated by audition is required for this course. Audition includes sight-reading, foreign languages and demonstration of musicianship skills. Transfer Credit: Transfers to CSU. Transfers to UC.
