3 units; 3 hours Lecture Recommended Preparation: Eligibility for ENGL 100, READ 100, and MATH 154. Presents the design and management of commercial and residental greenhouses including site analysis, greenhouse styles, glazing, circulation, cooling, venting, heating systems, and control systems. This class also covers general growing conditions of plants in a controlled environment. The business of nurseries and greenhouses is also covered briefly. Transfer Credit: Transfers to CSU.
