3 units; 2 hours Lecture, 6 hours Laboratory Repeatability: May be taken a total of 2 times. Prerequisite: DM 60A or equivalent skills. Recommended Preparation: DM 76 or equivalent skills; Eligibility for ENGL 100 and READ 100. Introduces web site information architecture history, procedures, methodologies, and production process; covers how information architects design information organization schemes and create structure for web sites, including: form, function, metaphor, navigation, interface, interaction, and visual design. Portions of the course will be taught in a Distance-Learning Format.
