0.5 unit;1 hour Laboratory Repeatability: May be taken a total of 2 times. Recommended Preparation: When taught in Spanish, concurrent enrollment in ESL 201A or ESL 220A or higher ESL level. Teaches practical approaches for child observation and assessment, developing writing skills necessary for documenting child observations, parent interviews, child development studies or family history papers. Each section will relate to a specific Early Childhood Education course. May be taught in Spanish as part of the Bilingual Spanish/English ECE teacher skills certificate.
