2 units; 6 hours Laboratory Prerequisite: ENGL 1A/1AH/1AMC/1AMCH. Provides theoretical training and practical experience as a writing tutor; lab hours are spent observing and tutoring in the Writing Center, English as a Second Language Lab, in English classes, and online. Students also meet in a weekly seminar with the instructor to discuss common writing problems and tutoring techniques. Transfer Credit: Transfers to CSU.
