3 units; 3 hours Lecture Repeatability: May be taken a total of 4 times. Prerequisite: ENGL 1A/1AH/1AMC/1AMCH. Teaches techniques and traditions of various creative writing forms, including fiction, poetry, drama, and other genres; in-class discussion of student writing. Students will write and revise at least 6,000 words. Transfer Credit: Transfers to CSU. Transfers to UC, with limits: ENGL 12ABCDEF maximum credit, 6 units per college.
