3 units; 2 hours Lecture, 6 hours Laboratory Repeatability: May be taken a total of 2 times. Prerequisite: DM 6 and DM 8 or equivalent skills. Recommended Preparation: Eligibility for ENGL 100 and READ 100. Covers planning, design and production of community clients' print projects; including: pre-press file management, bidding, 4-color, ink, paper, output, proofing, professional ethics, and industry standards. Taught on Macintosh. Adaptable to Windows. Portions of the course may be taught in a distance format. Transfer Credit: Transfers to CSU.
