Provides registered nursing students with an extended opportunity to obtain supervised clinical experience in the application of previously learned knowledge and skills in selected clinical areas. This will increase the confidence, critical thinking skills, competency and better prepare students as they assume the role of the professional student nurse and progress toward the nurse extern and graduate nurse. Prerequisite: Current enrollment and completion of at least the 1st semester of the Associate Degree Nursing Program. Hours: 54-162 by arrangement. Repeat: 3. CCS: Occupational Education. Offered: F, S. SS. Not Transferable: Associate Degree only.
