This oral communication class examines small group processes such as group formation and development, conflict, problem solving, and group climate. Covers an understanding of diversity, leadership roles, and theory. Students participate in class groups where experiential learning and presentations are part of the class experience. A field trip may be required. Recommended: English Level 6 and Reading Level 5 or 6. Hours: 54 lect. CCS: Liberal Arts and Sciences. Transferable: UC, CSU and private colleges.
