Introduction to all aspects of the communication process including intrapersonal, interpersonal, and group communication, as well as speaking in public. Emphasizes an understanding of communication in everyday life in conjunction with a knowledge of how to present ideas, thoughts and feelings. Introduction to various theories of interpersonal communication; participation in experiences designed to enhance competence and develop skills in interpersonal relationships.
