This course is an introduction to the possibilities of digital photography. Topics covered include: digital cameras, scanning, printing, color management and file management. Students create original images for use in class and explore photo manipulation with raster software. A suitable digital or film camera is required. Recommended: Reading Level 5 or 6, ART B20 or equivalent. Hours: 54 lect, 54 lab. CCS: Liberal Arts and Sciences. Transferable: CSU and private colleges. Note: Elective credit only.
