A continued study of the fundamentals of American Sign Language. Emphasizes grammatical structure, conceptual accuracy, vocabulary, placement of signs, fingerspelling and numerical proficiency. Introduces the spectrum of sign language, idiomatic expressions, and topical areas relating to deaf culture. Prerequisite: ASL B1. Hours: 90 lect. Field trips required. Offered: F, S.
