Recommended for students who need to improve vocabulary and reading comprehension and flexibility. Focuses on demonstration and application of reading strategies as they apply to textbook reading. Includes paragraph analysis, study strategies such as SQ3R and outlining, and vocabulary building techniques. Practice in application and analysis level of thinking. Prerequisite: Reading Level 3 or ENSL B51 with a minimum grade of "C" or ACDV B91 with a minimumgrade of "C.? ?Recommended : Concurrent enrollment inACDV B201a and/or ACDV B68. Hours: 54 lect.
