Introduces methods and regulations used by peace officers regarding the powers of arrest and laws of search and seizure. Students will engage in weaponless self defense and physical arrest activities. Designed to meet the requirements of California Penal code section 832 which establishes a minimum mandatory standard of training for peace officers in the state of California. Hours: 30 lect, 10 lab. Repeat: Unlimited. CCS: Occupational Education. Not Transferable: Not degree applicable.
