Students learn to use a complete learning system that incorporates strategies for understanding, integrating and remembering information from texts and lectures as well as strategies to prepare for and take tests. Prerequisite: Reading Level 4 or satisfactory completion of ACDV B62. Concurrent enrollment in designated lecture course coordinated with ACDV B196. Recommended: English Level 4 or satisfactory completion of ACDV B68/75 or ENSL B3. Hours: 42 lect/disc. Repeat: 1. CCS: Precollegiate - basic skills. Not Transferable: Not degree applicable. Note: Not open to students who have taken the equivalent course, CHDV B196.
