3 units 4 hours weekly Prerequisite: Completion of THA 125. Introduces the acting student to more in-depth work with character and text through analysis and performance of monologues and scenes from non-realistic dramatic literature, including Greek tragedy/comedy, Shakespeare, mannered comedy, absurdism and avant-garde. Students will prepare performance level scene studies and review their work based on class critiques. (CSU, UC, AVC) ( R1)
