3 hours weekly This course is designed for students who are preparing to take the Literature and Arts portion of the GED. Students should have at least a fifth grade reading level. Topics include popular and classical literature including fiction, poetry, and drama as well as prose and nonfiction readings focusing upon workplace and practical topics such as reading editorials, training manuals, etc. Additional emphasis will be placed on vocabulary building for literature and arts.
