5 unit, 1.5 hours weekly 1 unit, 3 hours weekly Designed for the student who wishes to compete in athletics at the intercollegiate level. Course content will emphasize pre-season conditioning for one of the following sports: baseball, basketball, football, track, cross country, soccer, softball, tennis and volleyball. It is an intensive training program based upon improving basic skills, speed, flexibility, agility, reaction time, coordinated movement and cardiovascular endurance. Students should have previous organized athletic experience. Students will enroll in the appropriate conditioning class that corresponds to their sport participation. (CSU, UC, AVC) ( R3)
