3 hours weekly This course is designed to prepare students to take the GED test. Words selected as the core list of GED vocabulary are found in literature and the arts, social studies, and science and other content areas covered on the GED test. Practice exercises and cumulative reviews are an integral part of the course. Vocabulary words covered in the course are grouped according to parts of speech to reinforce concepts presented in the sequence of writing classes. (R2)
