3 units 6 hours weekly Prerequisite: Completion of MM 101/CG 101. Corequisite: Concurrent enrollment in MM 110L. Advisory: Completion of ART 110, and Eligibility for READ 099. Instructional materials fee required for this course and must be paid at registration. Introduction to motion graphics for multimedia using still images, photography, typography, sound and video. This course covers the appropriate use of specialized motion graphics computer software to create innovative techniques and styles that will aesthetically enhance a multimedia presentation. Special attention is focused on special effects for motion graphics. (CSU, AVC) ( R2)
