5 units 5 hours weekly Prerequisite: Completion of GER 101 or GER 101B. This course, the second semester of elementary-level German, continues to develop students' ability to speak, read, write and comprehend German. Emphasis is on the vocabulary, grammar and cultural knowledge necessary to communicate in everyday situations. The course includes work in pairs and small groups so that students will be active learners. This course is equivalent to GER 102A and 102B combined. Concurrent enrollment in GER 102, GER 102A or 102B is not permitted. [CAN GERM 4] (CSU, UC, AVC)
