3 units 3 hours weekly Advisory: Eligibility for College Level Reading and ENGL 101. The psychology of clothing selection. Emphasis is placed on the study of design, line and color as they relate to personal appearance and dressing for the job. Fashion vocabulary, recognition and description of styles, fashion cycles and trends are included. An overview and introduction to employment opportunities, job interviewing and résumé preparationwill also be covered. Students will plan and participate in the annual fashion show. Required for all Clothing and Textile and Interior Design majors. (CSU, AVC)
