3 units 3 hours weekly Advisory: Eligibility for College Level Reading and ENGL 101. The study of the characteristics of plant, animal, and synthetic fibers and their use in fabrics. The course includes information for the student concerning textile weaves and finishes, and the selection and care of fabrics for garments and household use.
