3 units 3 hours weekly Advisory: Eligibility for College level Reading and ENGL 101. This course will introduce students to methods and principles of evaluating and planning inclusive classroom practices and settings. It is designed to aid early childhood professionals in understanding and implementing programs for the inclusion of children with special needs in the least restrictive environment. Students will explore a variety of exceptional children's needs as well as teaching strategies that welcome and enhance diversity in classroom settings. A current TB clearance may be required.
