Hours: 18 hours LEC; 54 hours LAB This course covers semiautomatic wire feed welding including fi ne through heavy wire welding on aluminum and stainless steel plate of varying thickness. Joint design, gas variations and all welding positions are covered. The emphasis of this course is on code welding aluminum and stainless steels. This course content is relevant to the performance qualifi cation test of the American Welding Society (AWS) D1.2 and D1.6.
