Prerequisite: ET 420 with a grade of "C" or better.Course Transferable to CSU Hours: 36 hours LEC; 54 hours LAB This course is a continuation of ET 420. It focuses on the advanced features of microprocessors, microcontrollers, and Programmable Logic Devices (PLD). Topics include microcontroller assembly language; optical, RF and serial communication techniques; output display design; and developing Reduced Instruction Set Controller (RISC) microprocessors from PLD's. Field trips are required.
