Prerequisite: ET 330 or 335; and ET 380 with a grade of "C" or better.Hours: 54 hours LEC; 108 hours LAB This course is a comprehensive study of high frequency communication concepts including antennas, transmission lines, transmitters and receivers. Commercial telecommunication equipment and schematics are used to simulate equipment that is utilized in industry. System design, component and equipment analysis and troubleshooting are stressed. Extensive use of laboratory experiments enhances theory. A fi eld trip is required.
