Hours: 18 hours LEC This course will emphasize retailing concepts, such as inventory control and turnover rates, selecting merchandise sources, using trade and cash discounts, pricing, markup and markdown, and shrinkage control. Students will also learn how to develop a merchandising plan, inventory control system, and assess consumer behavior and demographics.
