This course has a dual purpose: 1) To introduce the student to works originally written in Spanish, and available in English; 2) To give the student a glimpse of what is involved in translating, by doing some translations under the direction of the instructor. Prerequisite: Good background in Spanish (a minimum of three years of language study in high school).
