A course designed to train instructor candidates to teach courses and modules in the American Red Cross (ARC) Lifeguarding program by developing their understanding of how to use the course materials, how to conduct training sessions and how to evaluate participants' progress. Prerequisite: 17 years old; current Lifeguarding certification; excellent swimming skills; pass a comprehensive lifeguardings skills (swimming, first aid and CPR) pretest at the first session.
