This course is designed to introduce the paramedic student to the process of patient assessment. Topics include: History taking, techniques of physical examination, scene size-up, initial assessment, focused history and physical exam, medical focused history and physical exam, trauma detailed physical exam, ongoing assessment, communications and documentation. Prerequisites: Basic EMT, Math and English pretest codes of MTLV 2 or higher and WRLV3 and RELV3 or better. Co-requisites EG 104 and EG 109. F (S)
