A basic course in concrete design, dealing with the general properties of reinforced concrete; the design of reinforced concrete beams, girders and floor slabs; the design of columns subjected to axial and eccentric loads and the design of columns and wall footings. Ultimate strength theory is used per the latest A.C.I. Building Code Requirements for reinforced concrete. Prerequisite: CI 291, MT 122 or MT 126, CI 120, CI 121. S (N)
