Basic quantum chemistry concepts including the Schrodinger Equation, uncertainty principle, particle in a box, harmonic oscillator, rigid rotor, hydrogen atom and many electron atoms, molecular orbital theory, and the spectroscopic techniques associated with these mathematical models. Not open to students who have successfully completed Chemistry 361 and 362. Prerequisites: Chemistry 221 and 221L, Mathematics 126, and Physics 212. Corequisite: Chemistry 372L. Course Type(s): None
