Prerequisites: BIOL 01204 This laboratory course considers organic evolution, including its conceptual basis, its historical development, the processes that produce it, and the evolutionary history of life on earth. Laboratory exercises will include simulations of evolutionary processes, demonstrations illustrating patterns of evolution in the past, and opportunities to utilize research techniques of evolutionary biology.
