Prerequisite: ART 304 with a grade of "C" or better.Course Transferable to UC/CSU Hours: 36 hours LEC; 54 hours LAB This is a combined lecture and lab class where the human fi gure is studied directly and in historical context. Students will study the structure, proportion, and relationship of the nude fi gure to compositional space and color. Students will study great works of fi gurative based art and will practice subjective responses to a multitude of aesthetic theories. This course may be taken twice for credit.
