Hours: 27 hours LEC; 54 hours LAB This course covers the principles and theory of paint fi nish application, tinting and blending, color evaluation, color adjustment and evaluating color mismatch problems. It also covers OSHA, EPA, Clean Air Act, and VOC regulations and compliance for each of these rules or regulations. Paint application techniques, restoration of corrosion protection, and blending procedures are covered in addition to new and emerging paint technologies. Color identifi cation and interpreting vehicle color codes are covered.
