Advisory: CISC 300 and ability to touch type. Course Transferable to CSU Hours: 18 hours LEC; 18 hours LAB This course introduces operating systems for the PC. Topics include fi le systems, operating system services, program management, fi le and directory organization, and hard drive maintenance. It also includes information on protecting your PC from viruses, Trojans, worms, adware, spyware, and other malicious network exploits. Additional topics are DOS commands and batch fi les. The course may be taken four times on a different Windows operating system version.
