Hours: 54 hours LEC This course provides preparation for the business professional in electronic workplaces. Topics include business communication, records management, and preparation of business documents. Critical thinking, problem solving, teamwork, supervision skills, administrative procedures, and information processing technologies are used to complete assignments and activities as a business professional. These skills provide the background for advancement to supervisory and management positions. Primary emphasis is on processing documents using skills in word processing, spreadsheets, presentation graphics, database, and email. Career planning and development are addressed.
