General Education: AA/AS Area III(a); CSU Area E2 Enrollment Limitation: Fire Fitness Training - Fire Academy Recruit Course Transferable to UC/CSU Hours: 18 hours LEC; 54 hours LAB This is a physical fi tness course for employed fi re fi ghters. It includes medical testing, physical fi tness testing, lectures on fi tness, nutrition, and stress management, and individually programmed workouts for fi re fi ghters, with periodic progress testing. As a legally mandated occupational requirement, this course may be repeated annually by fi refi ghters.
