Course Transferable to CSU Hours: 54 hours LAB This course covers the basic components of Hawaiian dance within its traditional context. Class sessions consist of warm ups, center dances, and cultural dance vocabulary. An opportunity to study the history, origin, and cultural importance of hula is also presented. Basic Hawaiian vocabulary for dance and instructions for creating fl oral adornments are included. This course may be taken four times for credit.
