3 units 4 hours weekly Advisory: Eligibility for ENGL 099, READ 099 and MATH 070. Intended for students who are interested in a career in the aviation industry. Students will learn about the history and concepts of aviation technology. Also provides instruction and handson practice in fundamental concepts involving aircraft maintenance. Includes basic aircraft structures, mathematics, blueprint reading, and proper use and care of tools and equipment. Students will be involved in the restoration of a vintage aircraft. (AVC)
